Qui tutto sembra un pomeriggio d'estate che si protrae nel tempo: nessuna fretta, solo il vento, il sole e un ritornello infinito che si protrae come una strada lungo la spiaggia. Il ripetuto “Doko ni ikō Hachikō” funziona come una mantra, come quella parola che sembra non significare nulla, ma che per qualche motivo fa subito venire voglia di sorridere e muovere la testa a tempo.
Al posto del dramma c'è la leggerezza, al posto dello strazio c'è la promessa “non andrò da nessuna parte”. La musica scorre come se tutto intorno fosse rumoroso e litigioso, mentre qui c'è una piccola oasi di tranquillità: conversazioni a bassa voce, battute bonarie, la sensazione che la vacanza sia appena iniziata e che ci sia ancora molto tempo davanti. E anche se può sembrare troppo semplice, a volte la felicità sta davvero in un ritmo e in un paio di parole ripetute ostinatamente.
